For flatbed towing in Regina, Regina Signature Towing & Recovery tilts a flat deck to the ground, winches your car, SUV or pickup on and straps down every wheel, so an all-wheel-drive drivetrain, a low bumper or a damaged axle never touches the road.
A flatbed, sometimes called a rollback, is a truck with a long flat deck that tilts down to the pavement. The driver winches your vehicle up the deck, ties down each wheel and drives away with nothing dragging. It is the gentlest way to move a car, and the one most manufacturers ask for.
Most all-wheel-drive vehicles should travel with all four wheels off the ground, because turning only two of them can strain the drivetrain. A flatbed also protects low front ends, cars with a damaged wheel and anything that will not roll or steer. Inside Regina it costs only a little more than a wheel-lift tow.
Subarus, crossovers and most trucks with all-wheel drive should ride on a deck. Two wheels spinning on the road while two sit still is exactly what the drivetrain hates.
Low and Sporty Cars
A front splitter or a low bumper scrapes on a normal ramp. Our tilt deck sits at a shallow angle, and we use blocks when we have to.
Damaged or Stuck Vehicles
If the car will not roll, steer or shift out of park, a flatbed lifts it whole. That also keeps leaking fluid and loose parts off the road.
Winter and Ice
On black ice the deck is a steadier platform than a hook under two wheels. Straps hold the car still even when the road is sheer glass.

Ranges come from published Regina rates for 2026. We quote your actual price before the truck leaves.
What Every Flatbed Tow Includes
A price on the phone before we roll
A tilt-deck load with the winch, never a drag
Four tie-down straps, one at every wheel
Wheel chocks and flashing amber lights at the scene
The driver pulls up, parks ahead of your vehicle with the amber lights on and sets wheel chocks. He tilts the deck until its back edge rests on the pavement, hooks the winch cable to a tow point and pulls your car up slowly while someone watches the front bumper clear the deck.
In December alone we ran 22 flatbed loads, and 14 of those were all-wheel-drive crossovers. That is the kind of car this truck was made for.
Once the car sits flat, the driver puts it in park, sets the brake and ties down all four wheels with ratchet straps. Then the deck levels and we go. Honestly, the loading takes about ten minutes if the car cooperates, and it still looks like the slowest part of the day when it is minus 28 and the wind is up.

Which Vehicles Need a Flatbed in Regina
Anything all-wheel-drive, anything with a low front end and anything you cannot steer should go on a flatbed. So should classics, electric vehicles and cars with an automatic gearbox you do not want spinning on the road. Our crew will tell you if a cheaper wheel-lift tow would be fine for your car.

Flatbed Questions We Hear on the Phone
Will the straps damage my wheels?
We use wheel straps that wrap the tire tread, not the rim, so there is no scratching or marking. The driver checks the straps again after the first few kilometres of driving.
Can my kid ride in the truck with me?
Usually there is room for one or two adults in the cab. Car seats are a safety problem in a tow truck, so tell the dispatcher and we will plan a ride or a drop-off point.
Can you tow two cars at once?
Sometimes, on a long deck or with a second truck. Tell us the situation and we will say honestly whether one truck can do it or whether we need to send two.
Slid into the ditch on a grid road past Lumsden in the first snow. The driver found us off a text pin, hooked on and had the truck back on the gravel in about fifteen minutes. No lecture, just a pull and a thumbs up.

Flatbed towing
My Subaru is all-wheel drive and the first company I called wanted to drag it on two wheels. These guys brought a flatbed without me asking. Price was exactly what the dispatcher said on the phone.
Kyle D.White City
Accident towing
Fender bender on Victoria Avenue at rush hour. They cleared the car off the road quickly, took it to my body shop, and the driver waited with me until my ride showed up.
Priya S.Regina
Medium duty towing
Our delivery van quit at 5 a.m. with a full load. A medium duty truck was there before the shop opened and we lost one morning, not the whole day.
Marcel L.Emerald Park
Battery boost
Dead battery at minus 29 in a grocery store lot. The boost took ten minutes and the driver told me my battery was on its last legs, which saved me a second call.

Junk car removal
Hauled an old Buick off our acreage that had sat since my dad passed. Free pickup, no paperwork headaches, and the driver carried the plates in for me. It was a relief.

Flatbed Towing FAQs
How much does a flatbed tow cost in Regina?
Inside the city a flatbed tow usually runs about $102 to $105 plus GST, based on published Regina rates for 2026. Beyond the city limits we add about $3.25 per kilometre on top of a hook-up fee. We give you the full price on the phone before the truck leaves.
Is a flatbed better than a regular tow truck?
For most cars, yes. A flatbed carries all four wheels off the ground, so nothing on the road can damage your drivetrain, tires or bumper. It costs a little more than a wheel-lift tow, and it is the only safe choice for all-wheel-drive and low vehicles.
Can you flatbed an electric vehicle?
Yes. Electric vehicles should ride on a flatbed because their motors can generate power when the wheels turn. Tell the dispatcher it is electric, mention any low-ground-clearance or battery warnings, and we will send a truck with a shallow deck angle.
How long does it take to load a car on a flatbed?
About ten to fifteen minutes in normal conditions. The driver sets chocks, tilts the deck, winches the car up and straps down all four wheels. A car that will not roll, or deep snow around it, adds time, and the driver will say so before starting.
Do you tow cars that will not start?
Yes. A flatbed does not need the engine to run. If the car cannot be shifted into neutral, the driver uses wheel dollies or the winch to get it moving, then straps it down. Let us know the problem so we can bring the right gear.
Waiting for a Tow? Stay Safe Out There
Turn on your hazard lights, stay well off the road and keep everyone out of the vehicle if you are on a highway shoulder. In Saskatchewan, drivers must slow to 60 km/h when they pass a tow truck stopped with its lights flashing, so give our driver the same room.
Regina Signature Towing & Recovery is a small crew that answers at 3 a.m. the same way it answers at noon. We tell you the price first, load your vehicle the way the manufacturer wants it moved, and drop it where you say. Send your location or call and a driver is on the way.
